Joining Nuna Aqua Power

Assessment

If your child is interested in joining Nuna Aqua Power please fill out our Customer Enquiry Form. Squad entry is via assessment by one of our coaches.  As a rough guide, to be ready for Junior squad, swimmers must be able to swim 50m of all four strokes with some leeway given for Butterfly. More advanced swimmers, for example those already swimming for another club, can instead choose to attend a trial by swimming a full session with our Target or Senior squads.

Memberships

Participants in the Nuna Aqua Power squad program are required to be active members of the Nuna Aqua Power as either a competitive or recreational member.

26/27 Swimmer Membership - the Competitor Swimmer membership gives swimmers competitor access to State, District and Club meets. All swimmers aged 17 years and under on 1st July 2026 must have a financial parent/guardian member ”dry member” linked to their Swim Central account. Purchase is made via the Swimming Victoria website called Swim Central https://swimcentral.swimming.org.au/ Instructions on using Swim Central including getting started with Swim Central, purchasing a membership and transferring from other clubs is available on swimming.org.au.

26/27 Recreational Membership (Junior/Club swimmers only) - the Recreational membership is for our Club Stream squad members only who are not wanting to compete at SV official competitions. This membership still allows you to enter the PB Challenges and Club Nights. This membership is not available to purchase via Swim Central and will be automatically added to the customer account for payment of those club stream members who do not have a competitive membership from the 1st August 2026. The recreational membership is available to transfer to a competitive membership throughout the season by emailing club administration.

Please note both swimmer or recreational memberships are non-refundable.

Register on Stack Team App

All our Nuna Aqua Power club communications and notifications are through Stack Team App (‘Team App’).   Stack Team App is a must-have to keep NUNAP swimmers and families informed and abreast of the latest club news, events, and any last-minute training or timetable changes.  To sign-up to Team App, follow these steps:

  • Download “Stack Team App” from the Apple or Google Play app store.

  • Register on Stack Team App then login ans search for Nuna Aqua Power

  • Choose the Access Group(s) for the squad of you/your child: ‘All Swimmers, Parents & Officials’ + Squad you/your child is in.
