Aqua Power Swimming Club was founded in 1957 as the Heidelberg Swimming and Life Saving Club with the club joining the Nunawading Swimming Club family on the 1st December 2025 becoming the Nuna Aqua Power Swimming Club.

Nuna Aqua Power aims to build for our members a lifelong relationship with swimming.  A core value of our club providing an environment where all swimmers can swim their best. Nuna Aqua Power caters for a range of swimming stages and abilities.

Our club offers morning (before school), afternoon/evening (after school) and Saturday morning training sessions across the pool, gym, and dryland.  We also offer a school holiday swimming program for both squad members and school holiday only swimmers.

Squad Pathways

Nuna Aqua Power offers a comprehensive squad program including Club, Junior, Junior Excellence, State Age Development and National Age Development Squads.

Facilities

Most of the training at Nuna Aqua Power is at Ivanhoe Girls Grammar School (IGGS).  Nuna Aqua Power also trains at other locations, providing alternative timetable options families and enabling some extension programs for our higher level squads.  Our current venues include:

  • Boroondara Sports Complex

  • Hawthorn Pool
