PB Nights / Afternoons / Mornings

Personal Best (PB) Events are held throughout the season. All IAP squad swimmers are encouraged to attend Club PB to have a go at racing, meet other swimmers and try and improve your times.
Dates for the PB events is available on the ‘Events’ section of Team App for members only. Swimmers are expected to RSVP via TeamApp to help with planning and for catering when offered.
Club Championships
Club Championships are usually held in June each year and is open to all IAP financial club members (ie. you are registered as IAP Club members with Swimming Victoria this swim season). Please note however, that IAP members must have attended 2 PB nights (in that swimming season) to compete for trophies. Ribbons will be available for all other competitors.
Club Champs is a fun social event for the Club. There is a small entry cost for PB night (one fee charged per swimmer regardless of the number of events to assist with the cost of catering and trophies) and Swimmers are encouraged to participate in all events of their age group. Trophies and medals will be presented at the AGM and Presentation Night.
Club Annual General Meeting and Presentation Night
The Club AGM and Presentation Night is usually held in July or August of each year. Swimmers who competed at the Club Champs and in PB nights throughout the season will be presented with their trophy or awards, followed by the AGM and some light refreshments.
Notice of AGM will be communicated on TeamApp at least a month before the event. The agenda for the AGM usually consists of: Confirmation of minutes of the last annual general meeting; Receive from the Committee reports for the financial year; and Elect officers of the Association, and ordinary members of the committee.
